Life Assembly Church is in a growing community on a thriving corner with more than 10 million cars driving by each year. Despite the great location, the church is easy to pass by, as the dilapidated exterior blends into the surroundings.

To better reflect what God is doing inside the church, it’s time to focus OUTWARD and renovate the outside of the building!

Modern, industrial materials will upgrade the exterior, significantly improve curb appeal, and address required repairs. This renovation will serve as a visual representation of the transformation people experience inside the walls. The new look will draw attention to a thriving multi-generational, diverse church where people are vibrantly Pursuing Jesus Together. With God’s help and your generosity, Life Assembly Church will be a visible, welcoming presence, and OUTWARD focused Church for generations to come!

THIS IS MY STORY

FAQ

  • It is a church-wide concerted effort to raise funds to renovate the exterior of the church and upgrade to a commercial kitchen.

  • No, we do not plan to reduce our investment in ministry. We are also asking our church family not to shift their giving from support of our ministries to OUTWARD. We are asking you to increase your faith and giving.

  • We plan to fund this project with cash, but since Phase 1 will start before the initiative is complete, we are using existing loan funds without taking a new loan. Phase 2 will likely begin in 2026, in partnership with our daycare, allowing time for the congregation to fulfill commitments.

  • The outside Construction begins Fall of 2025, with the goal of being completed before the first snow. Our goal is to complete all projects around the time the two-year giving period comes to an end.

  • It’s different for everyone. There is no set formula. Each of us should begin to seek the Lord for direction on how much He desires to provide through us. Our giving should be above and beyond our tithe and involve sacrifice as an act of faith.

  • Giving can be spread out over a 24-month period. You can give weekly, monthly, or in one-time gifts. You can give as a part of Sunday morning offerings or online.

  • On April 13 the offering will allow individuals to make an initial investment toward their new commitment. In addition to following a Biblical precedence of first fruit offerings, this will allow an infusion of capital for the construction project.

  • On April 13th everyone will be asked to fill out a commitment card. The purpose of the card is to provide the church with an approximation of the congregations intended giving. This will allow us to appropriately plan for the future. The commitment total will be announced and celebrated at the end of April.
